I have been using this airbrush for a few weeks now, and I only regret I didn't get it sooner.
But I am glad I waited for the Plus version, because I like the new additions. The larger threads on the nozzle work very well and the new single-piece auxiliary lever makes it very easy to take apart. The dual-purpose, cutaway ands pre-set handle is also one of the reasons I like this airbrush (a personal taste...), and the tapered cup needs very little paint.
The chromed finish is perfect and very easy to clean. I now spend less time cleaning my airbrush and more using it...
It also does stippling very easily, and I was able to work on t-shirts with it.

Have been use to Paasche V, VL (10 years old, still great guns.)
Just purchased the IWATA HP-C Plus this week paid $159.00 delivered.
I can't say enough about this "paint pusher" Generous no spill cup, great balance, great paint flow at all trigger ranges, very consistant at low pressures, and best of all easy to clean. If you want a great gun for under $200.00 don't waist the money for the MAC valve, this gun is very hard to beat. Treat it well...parts are pricey.

I was able to test run this gun recently while mine was out for repair...now I am looking at getting this one...just trying to decide between the B and C models. My standard brush is a Bager 155 and works well, but this one really made a difference in my work (illustrations). The detail of this put the 155 to shame in my opinion...plus, I was able to mix small amounts of paint and clean up easily...something not as convinent with my 155. If you are on a budget and test driving, go for the 155...if money isn't a concern, I HIGHLY recommend this one.

great all around airbrush, good update to the HP-C

Cons:

The nozzle
|
|
This is a good all around airbrush- does good job at detail work and can handle thicker paints with its .3mm nozzle. The new cup design makes cleaning easier. My real only gripe and this goes for other brands is the screw in nozzle even with larger threads is easily overtightened. This can be a problem for a person new to airbrushing.

would not recomend for high production t-shirt work

I just bought the brush several months ago and I was blown away. Smooth trigger and excellent paint flow at 25 lbs pressure. If you are a detail junky like me. Clean up time is quick and easy. I love using the airbrush for custom t-shirts and wall paintings. I haven't tried it for auto work so far, but I have heard good things.
