the ones i own seem to be a real work horse. i have used them for about 10yrs with no problems. i have shot laquers,enamals,and waterbase through them. i still use them today with no part changes.

Take what I say with a grain of sand because I\'m new to AB\'ing. The AB has tips 1.1mm, .7mm, and .5mm It\'s hard to get fine lines. Probable need another AB for the fine detail. This AB cleans very easy and quickly. Easy to find parts at local art stores in area.

This was the first AB i bought. It's a perfect AB for a beginner, since it's pretty much bullet-proof. It will spray almost anything. Mine came with .03, .05 and .07 tips.
Its a perfect gun for beginners to learn on, then move up to something a little more presice. I still keep mine around as a spare and to do larger areas.
Performance improves dramatically after polishing the needle and nozzle (aka, the "micron" treatment)

I spent about a month trying this airbrush out and at first I was impressed. But the more time I spent using it, the more I realized it was not the professional quality it's said to be. I found the spray atomization was very poor regardless of paint viscosity or air pressure. The snap off handle also causes major problems if it is not perfectly positioned. One tiny bump and it causes the needle chuck to bind inside and keep the paint flow going even when the trigger is released.
While it may be a decent beginner airbrush, quite frankly it is not something someone should even buy to learn on let alone keep around for frequent use. You get what you pay for and a cheap airbrush is just that...cheap.
