Description:

All airbrush colours are not the same. Com-Art is considered to be one of the finest and most versatile professional airbrush colours in the world. Because of a common hydro-carbon base binder, Com-Art transparent and opaque colours can be used together without bleeding between colours. This non-toxic, ready to use paint is specifically formulated for use with an airbrush and never needs to be filtered or strained. Com-Art colours are heavily pigmented and light fast, allowing for accurate 4 colour separations. They provide superior atomization, smooth spraying, and they dry instantly.

These paints are very nice to work with. They spray right from the bottle with no thinning or mixing, and they can be intermixed with each other to make your own colors. They come in opaque and transparent and are by far the best paint I have used for eraser techniques. My favorite color is called "Smoke" This is not black or grey or brown.. kind of a little of both. Like all the transparent colors it is very very transparent, but I think even more so than any of the other colors. It can be erase very well to produde realistic looking black and white photo type paintings when using the white of the support and erasers to bring back the highlites. I have mixed these paints with Golden Airbrush colors on just about every painting I have done that is in color and not on textile. I would not think twice about using these and or golden airbrush colors on any hard surface. The finished painting must be cleared with something since any water or solvent (airbrush cleaner) that hits this paint will cause it to bleed and run even if it is dry.
