I bought the Eclipse BCS as a cost effective second brush. I like the way color changes go quickly with this brush. It is the primary brush that I use if I am going to paint a t-shirt. I am very new to this artform and art in general. The Eclipse has been a good "friend". I have found it to feel differently than my top feed brushes but that is not something that can't be over come with practice. It's probably more of a lack of experience thing that something to do with the brush.

Again, being a newbe, this AB works and functions as well as the HP-C. Nicely balenced and easy to care for. IMO you can't get a better AB for the price

Great for Thicker paints, even artists tube acrylics

Cons:

None I can think of

I boought my one over ebay thinking I needed a good AB for back-grounds. As it turns out, I find I am using it more and more for general purpose work. Even though it has a .5mm nozzle, I can lines just as fine as the .35mm eclipse. The nozzle are cheaper than the .35mm eclipse as well.

Pros:

Single needle size for all line widths, replacement parts priced reasonable,
|
|
Cons:
|
Can\'t get stipple by taking crown cap off like you can with the micron
|
|
This thing rocks!!! From illustration all the way to Tees it can handle anything you throw at it... does well with all types of paints and I find that it is more forgiving with paint thickness...Less prone to clogging too....

BCS has a pretty wide spray angle which makes it great for covering large areas. Yet is is very easy to controll for smaller details. The spray patterns is very narrow or very wide depending on the trigger position.
Handles thick paints very well and it is quick to clean up.
My favoirite unless I\'m doing serious detailing or small paintings.
I\'d suggest this as a first brush for every beginner because of the all-purpose nature and easy control.

Wow, what a great airbrush. After using a different suction feed for a while, then trying this brush, it\'s just amazing the difference between the two. I\'ve been using Createx fabric paint which tends to clog my old brush terribly with awful tip dry. I used this brush for about two hours without a bit of tip dry or clogging, even with white, which has a tendency to clog a lot. This is a great brush. My only only regret is that I didn\'t get this one first! Definitely give it a try.

Wide pattern to fine lines

Cons:

a little hard on the wrist after many hours

Very versatile, tough airbrush, good for all around stuff. I have sprayed thinned latex out of it no problem, and it can stand a good amount of abuse. The nozzles can be a little fragile tho.
Highly recommended.

Versatle, workhorse, handles thick paints well
|
|
Cons:

nozzle is the weakest part
|

Bought one when they first came out and never looked back. I use this brush for everything I do textile art, murals, fine art, automotive art, body art and then some. Brush is a must have from the amateur to the elite aritst. minimal cloging smooth flow even with thick paints. Good balanced weight. Nozzle is the only part one needs to replace depending on the wear and tear one gives it

Good quality airbrush !
|
|
Cons:

Bottom feed uses more paint than a top feed and needs a little higher Pressure to use siphon
|
|
It is the second best airbrush I own. Very good for T shirt and all around general purpose. I consider my best ab to be my HP-C Highline but the eclipse is usually weapon if choice.

I have a testors and a Paache VL. They have dust on the boxes now that I have this AB. This AB is just fun to use. and easy to change colors when doing art work or T's. Love it!!
