Description: The Scorpion I is a quiet, compact, and portable compressor for general airbrushing work. Its oil-less operation means no maintenance, and it is easy to use via a simple on/off switch. It also has an automatic shutoff feature that reduces noise and minimizes motor wear.

Reliable performance comes from a trap and filter that eliminate moisture buildup in the airhose. This single-piston unit operates at pressures up to 30 PSI. It delivers 0.55 CFM at maximum PSI. Includes a coiled plastic airhose. The Scorpion series of silent air compressors are portable, compact, oilless and require no maintenance. And, of course, their silent; the sound level is barely above a whisper with a hose and airbrush attached. A simple on/off switch activates these compressors. Features also include an automatic shut-off switch which permits these compressors to turn themselves off when not in use and then back on when resuming airbrushing. This feature eliminates heat related moisture build-up, reduces running time and minimizes motor wear. Both the Scorpion I and II come with a high strength, coiled airbrush hose, moisture trap and filter, and airbrush holder.

Pros: None
Cons: cuts out, overheats and shuts down, low pressure

Save your money for something else. If you are looking at textiles forget it, this unit is way under powered and you will not be happy. In my opinion this unit is not built to power an airbrush.
