I don't want to say that I wouldn't recommend this compressor since I have not worked with any others yet, but it has it's drawbacks. It does not have a power switch, so at first I was unplugging it for breaks. It has a release that is screwed in/out by hand, but if you keep the compressor on too long it gets very hot.
I think I solved (or at least adapted) by plugging it into a surge protector that has a power switch on it. Now I just hit the switch with my foot.
Although I am looking to get a better one, this little baby has worked out for me so far.

Like many airbrushers, I started out with this unit because it was specifically termed an \"airbrush compressor\", however, after having a lot of trouble with my airbrush spitting and getting inconsistent spray patterns, I realized that it just did not produce enough PSI to adequately run my airbrush.
This and other brands/types of 1/10 to 1/4 hp diaphram compressors are best suited for airbrushes that will only spray very thin paint, dye, or inks and operate well at PSI ranges of 20 lbs. or LESS. Not recommended for acrylics (like Createx and others) or automotive paint or for use with the Paasche VL airbrush.
