Description: The Eclipse SBS Side-Feed brush features a .35 mm needle and nozzle combination with the option of three cup sizes–the standard 1/8 oz. side cup, a special 1/2 oz. gravity feed side cup and a 1 oz. siphon feed bottle. The SBS is ideal for custom automotive graphics and murals, as well as for fine-arts work that requires custom color mixing and thicker paints.

Pros: very precise, easy to use
Cons: none

This is my first Iwata, I had 3 Badgers 150/200 before, but none of them achieved the precision and paint flow Iwata does. I've choosen the model Eclipse HP-SBS because of the price on parts, since the line HP-SB, that offers a 0.2mm nozzle, has parts matched and if you mess up your needle, a new set will cost about 125$, and this is something I think is a little to much, because the Eclipse can get very fine lines and it works even at pressures like 5 PSI. It's a great product.

Pros: Verstily
Cons: None I can think of

Out of all my Iwatas, this is the one I always pick up for deatil work on canvas. I brought 5-6 new side cups over ebay for 10 bucks each which I also use with my HP-SB's. It gives me the ability to paint uniterupted with several cups of paint. I use mine with the crown cap and pre-set handle and the detail I can achieve is almost on a par with the HP-C. Nozzles are half the price of the HP range as well.

Pros: comes with teflon packing
Cons: none

For automotive work this is my go to brush. Mine came with the 1/2 oz cup and with this you can paint a long time without stopping, great for accenting flames. AL

Pros: Precision, light, comfortable
Cons: price of parts

This is my first Iwata and it is the standard HP-SB that comes with the #2 size nozzle.
It is incredible and acurate and easy to use. Better than the Paasche VL\'s that I\'ve always used. This is now the brush that I pick up to do all my detail work.
Other than the price of parts, this is an excellent gun and well worth the money.
