Pros: slim design, 1needle tip combo, usability
Cons:

Still very new to AB, love the line weight capabilities; one needle/tip pretty much does it all, slim design like holding a pencil. Sprays paint (Createx) very well, going to be using on all hard surfaces such as batting helmets and such. Very easy to use even for a newbie such as myself

Pros: No changing needles and tips
Cons: Very thin in the hand

I got this on the recommendation of KB and a few others on the boards. I love it and need to keep practicing, but I'll get there eventually.

Pros: one tip and needle design, light weight
Cons: none

Being fairly new to airbrushing, I had only used single action airbrushes. I started looking for a good double action that would not break the bank. I choose the 155 for it\'s very simple single tip and needle design. It is very easy to use and the action is great. The 155 can also spray a varity of paints with ease. Another great thing about it, is the fact that it is very easy to clean and maintain.

Pros: Thin size fits short finger well, well designed tip seems to provide better atomization of paint then my VlL. One needle allows verfy fine to very wide lines.
Cons: Needle diameter is very small and a pipe cleaner will not fit down the bore. However, as of yet, no paint has gotten back behind the paint chamber area.

I am a beginner, and just recieved the 155 for my bithday few weeks ago. I have a Paasche VL that I started with, but found it was a bit to fat for my short fingers. The 155 fits in my hand really well and it\'s seems to be well balanced. I have better control over the paint with this brush then the VL and I assume this is do the gradual tapper of the tip. I highly recomend this brush to everyone interested in a qualtiy tool at a very resonable price.

Update 2 years later:
This brush it still a good bottom feed brush for the money. However, knowing what I do now, I would probably suggest a gavity feed brush to anyone starting out. You will not need a jar of paint to paint modles, fine art, or even tshirts as a hobby, you will find that you want to change colors and may only need 3 drops of a color. This is a real paint with a bottom feed brush. It does not hurt to have one in your box of tricks for really large items, but you also need that gravity feed for the finer detail. So my suggestion is to start with a high quality gravity feed brush and add something like the 155 at a later date when you find you could use one.

Pros: Great all-around brush, nice balance, easily maintained
Cons: needle sticks out beyond the head

The \"JEEP\" of the airbrush world. Can do just about everything.Coupled with a good \"detail\" brush you could do it all.
I don\'t like the needle sticking out the end. It\'s easily bent, gets caught during MY dagger strokes (I\'m an amature) and I\'ve stuck myself with it (like I said,I\'m an amature) but if it didn\'t stick out, it may not work as well.
Just buy one!!

Pros: great all around airbrush
Cons: not for detail work

This is a great airbrush for a beginner as it handles most paints without any problems and sprays great. It can spray fairly thin lines but also sprays broad coverage. It can shoot out some paint at full blast. The profile of the needle causes an abrupt change in sray from fine to broad. The only grip I have is that there were some burs that I had to file off around the trigger opening. Once I did this I had a super smooth easy to control trigger.

Pros: Open body for quick cleaning. Comfortable.
Cons: Control can be touchy, Clogging can be a problem.

I use this airbrush as my "black" paint brush. It feels very comfortable to hold and can produce a great deal of detailed work. It does clog more often than my other guns.

Pros: Balance and easy in use
Cons:

I started with a VL and while I will not down that brush, when I got my first Anthem I was astonished at the difference in the feel of the brush. For me this brush is indeed the "Jeep". This little brush has sprayed everything I have put through it. On the rare occassion I have problems it is one of the easiest brushes to take apart, clean and reassemble that I have seen. Great brush for the price!

Pros: Light weight and well balanced
Cons:

This is a well balanced and light weight airbrush that performs very, very well. It is my work horse as it can go from 3/4" to a pencil line. I wish is could go smaller but for only having one range in a needle, shes as good as it gets. besides the price was GREAT 155-7 kit for 50.99 ,,, you cant beat that!

Pros: Great Airbrush in its price range. Able to do fine lines and shoots lots of paint for large areas.
Cons: Soft needle/ nozzle metals

Would like to see Badger use stainless steel or harden the needle tip & nozzle.
These parts wear quickly.

Pros: Comfort, feel, ease of use
Cons: bottom feed not good for illustration (IMO)

I bought this AB in September for about $75 and it has a very nice feel and will flow just about anything without too much hassle. As I am getting more "refined" in what I want to do (Illustration/automotive) the only drawback is the bottom feed...the cup is quiet cumbersome off to the side for me, and bottom hanging bottles are always getting in the way (I shoot on both an easel and a drafting table). However, this is a great starter brush at a great price and would be great if you always shoot on an easel...and makes an excellent second if you decide to go another direction...plus you aren't out an arm and a leg.
