WARRENSBURG -- Louis Mastro will live on through his art.

"We used to go to his studio, and we were so proud. Dad would show us his airbrush. With this little spray of paint, he would put things in and take things out of photos," said his daughter Maria Hallahan, who lives in Cooperstown.

Top Album Artist Visits Aberdeen for First Time

Terry Pastor, best known for his iconic artwork for music albums by David Bowie, the Beach Boys, The Sweet, Carl Palmer and Soft Machine, will be in Aberdeen this week for his first-ever exhibition in the city.

Terry left school at 15 and worked for three years in a commercial art studio in Fleet Street, London. A self-taught artist, it was here that he discovered and mastered the use of the airbrush, which was to become the principal technique for most of his career.

Mural #32 a tribute to Community Living

Artist John Ellenberger has agreed to paint the mural in May. The murals committee selected John because his airbrush style of painting will lend itself well to what they want to accomplish with this mural. There already are three murals by John: 'The Town Smithy' 1994, 'Old Time Fiddling and Stepdancing' 1995, and 'The CPR Water Tower' 2000.
