Digital Magazine Help

 

Here is a little help page dealing with the digital format of Airbrush TechniqueMagazine.

Accessing, printing, downloading the digital magazine is really easy straight forward and very few folks have a problem but I thought I’d put this together to make everyone’s life easier.

 

You must either subscribe or have purchased a single issue to log into the digital magazine. For information on subscribing CLICK HERE

The first time you try and access an issue the screen might go white for a few seconds please be patient as the magazine starts to load. A red screen will than appear and you can see the progress of the magazine loading.

 If you are download an issue it should work fine on a Mac.

LOGGING INTO THE DIGITAL MAGAZINE

 

 

I have all the digital magazines listed on one page to make it easy to log into any issue you want. That page is located on the front page of Airbrush Technique.Com

CLICK HERE to go to that page now. You might want to consider book marking that page or saving it to your favorites for quick and easy access.

 

Click on the link MAGAZINE LOG IN.

 

 

Once on the magazine log in page scroll down the page until you see the issue you would like to read. Click on that magazine.

 

 

Once the magazine has loaded please click on the arrow to turn the pages until you get to page 6, as pictured above. By default to allow a few pages everyone can preview the magazines do not require you log in until page 6.

 

 

 

Once you reach page 6 the LOG IN BOX will appear on your screen, please insert your e-mail address and password and click CONTINUE. There you have it, how to log into the digital magazine.

DOWNLOADING THE MAGAZINE

So easy a caveman could do it.

 

 

Up in the left hand corner (as pictured above) you'll see OPTIONS please click on that.

A drop down list will come up click on DOWNLOAD OFFLINE VERSION

Once you download a issue you should not have to do so again and will be able to access the issue even when you are not On-Line.

 

A box will pop up choose the SAVE option please.

 

Select the location on your computer you want to save the magazine. In the picture above I've selected my desktop to save the magazine to. Once you have selected the location the magazine will download to that location.

 

 

 

Once the magazine has downloaded click on the OPEN BUTTON.

 

 

 

When it opens you will see the issue folder you downloaded, click on that folder please.

 

 

 

 

Once the folder is open click on the zip file containing the issue you down loaded as pictured above.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please click on EXTRACT ALL button as pictured above.

 

 

 

 

Once all the files have been extracted you should see the same files as pictured above. Click on the issue button of the issue you downloaded to view that issue. This is what you will do any time you wish to view the issue, you will not need to download the issue again.

 

 

 

 

Click on the RUN button to open the magazine, this you can do even if you are off line.

 

 

 

 

 

And your done enjoy reading the issue you downloaded.

PRINTING THE MAGAZINE

 

 

Once you've logged into the magazine if you wish to print the magazine click on the PRINT ICON which is up in the tool bar as pictured above.

 

 

A box will pop up from which you can select the page range you'd like to print. If you want to print the entire magazine select From page 1 to page 32 generally with regular issues. Pictured above is an example from Airbrush Technique Magazine Issue 0 special edition which has 36 pages. Once you've selected the page range click on the PRINT button and the pages will print off via your printer.

FINDING PAGES WITHIN THE MAGAZINE

 

 

If you would like to find a certain page or article within the magazine click on the CONTENTS link in the upper left in the tool bar. As pictured above a drop down list will appear from which you can select the article/page you'd like to read.
