I have this compressor, and this airbrush that wife bought me for Christmas...(see Pics) I had bought one of those "toy" airbrushes from Testors, that was basically a glass jar strapped to the front of a can of compressed air, but the finish I got on this GTO model (more pictures)..led me to say...wow...think of the finish and details I could add using a real airbrush.
My question is, I see no regulator came with this compressor, so I will buy one of those regulator/water trap units for it, but what happens then? I set the pressure at say 30PSI on the regulator, but does the compressor just run forever, or is there some kind of built in shut-off ? I've used large compressors in garages that turn themselves on & off at whatever pressure you set, but how do these small units work? Will it shut-off automatically at 100psi (its max), and then fire up again at some point as I keep using the air while painting? I apologize if this is a stupid question.
