Default Re: what color type?

Hi there handyman, for automotive colours you would either go with the urethanes, and solvent based paints, thinners from an auto paint supplier. However if you go that route, you will need to take more precautions with solvent based paints, than water based. Solvents are harmful of course to inhale, so good filter masks are a must, and protective clothing to protect your skin, also it is advisable to have a well ventilated area'
As Kdsilverbrush points out the Auto air range of paints are designed for auto applications, being water based they are much safer to use, and don't require the same specialist environment to spray. They are part of the createx family of paints. In the how to section on this forum there is a good explanation of paint types. Or you could just go to this link AutoAir Colors
Which is their web site. Of course you could always source them online, and have them delivered, if they are not common in your part of the world. I realise that some parts of the world on line purchase is more difficult, but if you can register with paypal for funds transfer for instance, some shops offer paypal to pay for goods, and that might help you.

Hope this answers some of your questions
