well there is only 1 guage on the compressor, i start spraying when it is at 60 psi(this is when the compressor shuts off automatically) and i spray until it reaches 35 psi( when the compressor turns back on) this takes a minute or two to drop to 35 psi.

Ok, I went back and checked the compressor, in particularly the water trap part with the guage on it. it seems to have a rotatable part on the top of it with a + and - on it, and it can be made to lock at whatever position it is set at. Also there seems to be an allen key part on the side of it. I am neverous to change these from their current position without knowing first what they are for. The instructions mention nothing about this at all.
