Ok, I went back and checked the compressor, in particularly the water trap part with the guage on it. it seems to have a rotatable part on the top of it with a + and - on it, and it can be made to lock at whatever position it is set at. Also there seems to be an allen key part on the side of it. I am neverous to change these from their current position without knowing first what they are for. The instructions mention nothing about this at all.

Dekieon, that rotateable part is the compressor regulator, turn yer compressor on and let it fill, and then turn that in the negative (-) direction untill ya get to about 15 or 20 psi on the gauge. Ya should be good to go then, and yer problem solved.
