I just started ABing a couple of days ago with a badger 155 as well, and had the exact problem you are talking about. Try reducing (thinning) the paint. You want it to flow like milk. Sounds really thin but works. I use around 30psi and am using my tube acrylics (liquitex) with some airbrush medium to thin them down. It does look a little grainy but I think that might be because I didn't strain the paint first, or tube paint pigments aren't ground as finely as AB "ready to use" paint (createx, golden).
