Hey Baha, I don't normally do any artwork over a straight kandy base, to risky to have the strong kandy pigment to leach up through the artwork and then the artwork is ruined.
I would clear it first then scuff it then artwork. Just a suggestion in case you wanted to freehand or mask it off.
