I agree with Don about the One Shot, even with the paint booth and an outtake fan I would make sure to wear a respirator with properly rated cartridges, latex/or nitrile gloves, and keep your skin covered. Its up to personal preference, but Brushbyair mentioned some less toxic alternatives, another one is Magic 1 enamel sign paint. If the one shot is working good for you just take the necessary precautions
Best of luck with the brush control, I like to practice on paper towels, lines, dots, daggers, trigger control. after 5 rolls of paper towels or a couple bed sheets you'll feel more confident!
