Hi K!

You haven't done anything wrong - you just haven't finished yet!

Her lips are almost the same colour as her skin - study your photo and add some red to the lips so that you can see where you are going. You need more contrast with your shadows - they are too much like her base skin tone. Basically everything is there and in the right place. You're on the right track - just keep going!

If you stuff it up start again! I often repaint a portrait. The second time around you will be wiser as you will have already travelled the road before!
