Some snakes have up to 200 teeth
Nicely done. I would love to see some detail in the eye and some highlight areas giving a hint of where the snakes right jaw line is "our left".

Re: snake head(first try in full color)
Being it is your first full color this looks just fine and goin out of your comfort zone is even better. You should keep doin full color work Kant, the more you experience the better you get and the less work you turn down. Did you use any reference pics for this? If you did look at the gum area on the snake and you will see it is not as red but reddish pink with some small white hilites if needed.
Nice work!

Re: snake head(first try in full color)
rowi just wait to sunday then I´ll post the pic as it looks now, I tryed to carve out the scales with a trans gray, also added some more light to the scales and put some saliver on the teeth. and then my camera ran out of power just as I was going to take a picture. this afternoon when I had bought new batts, I found out my wife had taken the camera with her, she is on a trip with her work over the weekend, so tonight after work I can stay up and paint as long as I wan :-)

Neder, if u have the imagnation, you have the talent, just a matter of toneing the skills, and you are in the process of doing that, keep your chin up man, this isn't something you can learn overnight, and you have a great start.

Re: snake head(first try in full color)
You obviously don't need advice - I have a quick trick 4 U though - since you're working on a dark background, put some fishnet in place before you spray you colors - when you pull it up, it will leave the pattern of the net between the scales, then you can soften with your brush...you really put work and detail to your skin...looks great!
