Default Old School True Fire

Hi everyone, Ive been pretty busy out in the garage/paint shop and I'm trying to get pics of everything in process but some times I forget or my battery dies out and I miss out on some photos. Here are some pics of something I wanted to try for a while now and decided it was time. I painted the base coat with a Dupont pearl blue ( with plenty of extra pearl flake added) and I clear coated it also with blue pearl flake added to the clear. Then I masked it out and proceeded to paint what you see here. After everything I put another coat of clear. I'm going to wet sand it and clear it again but I'm wandering if I should put a drop shadow in there to spruce it up a bit. What do you think? Your advice is like gold because what I think looks good maybe other people think it looks like.........well ..you know! I would like to hear all of your opinions good or bad . Thanks for looking and have a great day!! Jim

I like this the way that it is but a drop shadow will help you if you think that the box needs it

Jim, the mailbox looks great! I'm not sure shadowing the blue part would add anything. Shadowing the "flames" part might add depth as if the fire was further back but up to you.

Looks real nice... I am a big fan of putting old school flames with true fire... Nice work... I think all you need is a few drop shadows under the flames and thats it... Its still looks killer no matter what.. Very clean and sharp....Thats one hot mail box....
